SB 1334 now guarantees nurses and health care workers in UC and public sector hospitals receive an additional 30 minute unpaid meal period AND up to two hours of penalty pay for missed breaks (1 hour pay for any missed meal break and 1 hour pay for any missed rest break).

How many meal and rest periods are workers entitled to per shift?
